Description
HMS Queen Elizabeth, the UK navy's fleet flagship, is returning from a seven-month deployment to the Indo-Pacific at the head of an allied strike group. The aircraft carrier fields sophisticated F-35B stealth jets and helicopters. In the east Mediterranean, it lost one of its F-35Bs on take-off, though the pilot ejected safely.
