Heated parasols and other heaters are no longer welcome on terraces in the French city of Lyon since 28 July. Several months before the implementation of a national ban on outdoor heating equipment, the Lyon municipality issued a decree banning heating on the terraces of bars and restaurants to combat CO2 emissions.
