Description
China says it appreciates the efforts by South Africa in offering "timely information" on the Covid-19 variant Omicron.
Beijing warned Tuesday that the fast-spreading variant would cause challenges in hosting next February's Winter Olympics in Beijing.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson also comments the US plans to expand its military bases in the Indo-Pacific, accusing the country of 'wantonly showing off their force...and undermining regional peace and stability.'
