Description
Fiji welcomes back its first international travellers more than 600 days since closing itself off from the world when the pandemic began. Grass-skirted traditional dancers welcome holidaymakers as the South Pacific nation opened its borders. Face coverings obscured smiles as travellers - some carrying surfboards - made their way through the terminal but cries of "bula" (hello) and Indigenous songs of celebration reverberated around the building.
