Athletes train for the Nordic Combined Continental Cup, which is held as a test event for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, in the city of Zhangjiakou. Both newly constructed for the Winter Games, the National Ski Jumping Centre and the National Cross Country Centre are responsible for holding the normal hill jump and the cross-country ski events respectively.
