Boris Cheshirkov, spokesman for the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees says that more than 30,000 people have fled intercommunal violence in Cameroon's Far North since Sunday and have taken refuge in neighboring Chad. "Since Sunday 5 December, at least 22 people have been killed and 30 others seriously injured," Cheshirkov adds. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
