Ricardo Alberto Martinelli Linares, son of former Panama president Ricardo Martinelli (2009-2014), is transferred by Guatemalan authorities to a military air base in the capital, prior to extraditing him to the United States, where he is wanted on charges of money laundering in the Odebrecht case. The extradition is set to take place almost a month after Guatemalan authorities extradited his brother, Luis Enrique, accused of the same crime in the Brazilian construction company's corruption scheme in Latin America.
