Paris mayor and presidential candidate Anne Hidalgo inaugurates the esplanade of Armenia, together with the Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs, in front of the memorial of the victims of the genocide of 1915. The mayor highlights "bonds of friendship" between Armenia and Paris and also pleads for the recognition of Nagorno-Karabakh as a "sovereign state".
