For generations, the Banda Mocha have enchanted their listeners by turning nature into musical instruments, producing a unique sound. But the group now fear for their future. The flautist and the cymbal player have already died without leaving heirs and among the young people of this village in Ecuador's arid Chota valley, it is difficult to find anyone who wants to continue practising their sounds.
