Ballot counting starts at a local polling station in Hong Kong after voting ends in the city's first legislative election under Beijing's new "patriots only" rules. Turnout was looking muted with only 29 percent of the electorate having cast their vote one hour before the stations closed, compared to 53 percent in 2016. IMAGES
