Description
After the arrival of the first winter rains, migrating pink flamingos take refuge in Cyprus' Lake Aliki as they make their journey to Africa. During the summer, the lake dries up and transforms into a vast plain of salt, which fills up with water in winter, heralding the arrival of the migratory birds. IMAGES
