Nigeria destroys more than 1 million expired Covid-19 vaccines. The Executive Director of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA)asserts that when the vaccines were offered to the country 'we knew that they have a short shelf-life but we were living in an environment where the supply of Covid-19 vaccines was very scarce'. He blames 'vaccine nationalism' in developed countries for hoarding vaccines until they 'were about to expire' before donating them.
