The UK parliament's principal architect says as the scaffolding starts to be removed around the Elizabeth Tower - often misnamed Big Ben - in London, the remaining renovation work is on track to be completed in summer 2022. The world-famous landmark has been ensconced in scaffolding since 2017, but for the first time since then people will see all four clock faces on NYE as the temporary bell ringing mechanism is put into action for the final time.
