Description
In October 2004, Cullen was charged with the murders of three people from our viewing area and the attempted murder of another. Investigators said Cullen killed or tried to kill those people while they were patients at hospitals in Lehigh County (Allentown area). When the charges were announced, we talked to the families and people who knew the victims. We did use some video from inside a NJ courtroom.
A month later, in November 2004, WNEP sent a crew to Allentown when Cullen pleaded guilty to the charges. We have video that we shot of Cullen getting into and out of a police car. We also have sound from the DA at the time and sound from relatives of one of the victims. We also used a brief clip of the video of Cullen in a NJ courtroom.
