Opposition candidate for governor of the Venezuelan state of Barinas, Sergio Garrido, greets his supporters ahead of the election re-run on Sunday. Barinas, a fiefdom of ex-president Hugo Chavez, voted in large numbers in November 21 regional elections for opposition figure Freddy Superlano.
