Costa Rica foresees a radical change in its economy if it consolidates green hydrogen technology production, of which it expects to be the world's leading producer and exporter in 5 to 10 years. According to the deputy of the Ministry of Energy, Costa Rica has "an electricity matrix with enough installed capacity to generate hydrogen without affecting people's access to electricity".
