About a dozen LGBTQ activists brave a Valentine's Day downpour Monday to tie yellow ribbons on the gates of Taiwan's government office, protesting a trailblazing same-sex marriage law that critics say fall short of full recognition for certain international couples. Under the law, Taiwanese people may legally wed foreigners but only from countries that also recognise marriage equality.
