Description
The Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute presents some of the works that will be on display in its upcoming exhibition, "In America: An Anthology of Fashion", the second installment of a two-part show. Andrew Bolton, head curator of the Costume Institute, says American film directors will help create "cinematic vignettes" by featuring "designers who have been in a way forgotten in fashion history" against the backdrop of the museum's period rooms.
