Somalis walk through the rubble of the destroyed police station in the Kaxda district of capital Mogadishu, one of the targets of a simultaneous al-Shabaab attack on several police buildings. Heavily-armed men using a vehicle loaded with explosives stormed the compound in the middle of the night, exchanging gunfire with security forces, killing two young girls and injuring 16 civilians, according to police spokesperson Abdifatah Adan Hassan.
