Four Spanish Eurofighter Typhoon jets arrive to begin a joint air policing mission with the Bulgarian airforce as part of NATO efforts to secure its eastern flank amid rising tensions with Russia. The aircraft along with 130 Spanish personnel are stationed at the southern Graf Ignatievo air base and will perform enhanced air policing tasks with the Bulgarian airforce until March 31.
