Hong Kong begins implementing a vaccine pass system to restaurants, shopping malls, supermarkets and other establishments on Thursday. Residents are required to be vaccinated in order to enter the affected premises, and scanning of the controversial contact tracing "LeaveHomeSafe" app becomes mandatory.
