Cold water swimmers from across the US and parts of Canada gather in Newport, Vermont to swim in a 25 meter pool cut into the frozen Lake Memphremagog. The 8th annual Memphremagog Winter Swimming Festival brings 122 cold water swimmers back to the lake after a two year lapse due to the pandemic. "We are looking for other sites in Canada and elsewhere in the US so that we can establish a federation of ice pools to do these swims throughout the winter," event founder Philip White says.
