Description
For the first time since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Portuguese city of Loures is greeted with a very unusal sight: its annual cross-dressing carnival parade. Before making their way through the city blowing whistles whilst dancing, a dedicated bunch of revellers put on lipstick, don wigs and squeeze themselves into tight tights that participant Pedro Gaio admits are "a little bit difficult" to put on "as I have a big belly".
