Description
The German Red Cross (DRK) sends the first large shipment of aid for refugees from Ukraine to Poland. The 88 tonnes of aid material has left Schönefeld, near Berlin, and is expected in Lublin, eastern Poland, on Wednesday, the NGO says. The emergency aid includes 3,280 cots, 4,680 sleeping mats and more than 750 hygiene kits, each designed to meet the needs of a household of five people for a month.
