As Russia's invasion of Ukraine drags on, a Ukrainian restaurant in Hong Kong sees an outpouring of support from the city as the nation's community finds ways to support their families and compatriots from home. Ivan the Kozak, a mainstay of the Ukrainian community in Hong Kong located at the heart of the city, has its entrance plastered with messages of solidarity from locals since Moscow's invasion began on 24 February. Reservations and patronage have skyrocketed at the restaurant since the invasion began, says owner Olena Wang, a Ukrainian who moved to the city after marrying a Hong Konger in 1996.
