Description
Adrian Glover, a deep-sea biologist at Britain's Natural History Museum, explains the significance of the discovery of one of the most famous shipwrecks in history, Sir Ernest Shackleton's Endurance, deep in the icy sea off Antarctica more than a century after it sank. The wreck was found in a well-preserved state because of the lack of wood-eating species in the Antartic, according to Glover. SOUNDBITES
