"I prayed to Mary to help our people," says Mariana Sova after she attended a mass for some dozen Ukrainians sheltered in Medjugorje, a famous Catholic pilgrimage site in Bosnia. The owners of Medjugorje's many guest houses, usually full of pilgrims, have organised to open their doors to about 70 refugees fleeing the Russian invasion, with another 200 expected to arrive in the next few days.
