Description
A campsite in a small Czech town has opened a a Ukrainian restaurant offering food made by refugees. The campsite in Revnice, just southwest of Prague, is now home to about 40 Ukrainian refugees including 28 children. Its owner previously ran an Asian restaurant on the site but changed the restaurant's focus as the refugees arrived. The Ukrainians who have found a home here prepare various delicacies from their homeland, including borscht soup with beetroot, bograch, a goulash soup, pampushki, or garlic buns, and golubtsy, stuffed cabbage leaves. They also have plans to make pelmeni and vareniki, which are dumplings filled with meat or vegetables. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
