Cremation, embalming, burial or "body composting"... Washington state residents can now choose this option, which is part of an activist movement for environmentally conscious funerals. "Now that I've gone through the process, I'm all for this, I will be terramated," says Cindy Armstrong, whose 36-year-old son, struck down by cancer, wanted his remains composted. "We've devised a system that runs about 90% cleaner" than cremation, says Micah Truman, founder of Return Home in the Seattle area.
