"This case is a terrible tragedy for everyone, on both sides," says the lawyer of a dump truck driver who tore through a school bus on 11 February 2016 in Rochefort, causing the death of six teenagers. During the first morning of the trial, which opened at the criminal court in La Rochelle, the defendant admits he "may have left the side panel open", which sheared the side of the bus.
