Images of a concrete fence being erected by Iraq along part of its border with Syria, seen from the countryside near the Syrian town of al-Hol in the northeastern Hasakah province. According to an Iraqi military source, its aim is to stop Islamic State group jihadists from infiltrating. Iraq in 2018 said it had begun building a fence along the Syrian border for the same reason.
