The trial of a member of the brutal Islamic State (IS) kidnap-and-murder cell known as the "Beatles" in a US federal court "offers a greater deal of transparency and accountability in the public's eye," than in a military commission, an analyst in Washington, DC says as the jury selection in the trial of El Shafee Elsheikh begins.
