Profile of Shehbaz Sharif, the leader of Pakistan's opposition alliance, as he seeks to oust Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Sharif is the younger brother of three-time prime minister Nawaz Sharif, who was ousted over corruption allegations in 2017 and is currently residing in Britain after being released from prison in 2019 for medical treatment.
Sharif is favoured to lead a new government should Khan lose a vote of no confidence expected to take place this weekend.
