With the Covid-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine, vinyl records manufacturers are facing a shortage of raw materials as well as inflation, which is affecting their production. The Berlin record pressing factory Intakt! is starting to struggle. "A company like ours, which used to buy materials for 25,000 euros, now has costs of 50,000 euros," says Max Gössler, the factory's manager. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
