French voters in London cast their ballots in the opening round of a presidential race that is forecast to be very close. Polls place incumbent Emmanuel Macron ahead, however far-right challenger Marine Le Pen has gained ground in recent weeks following a slick campaign. Macron has spent little time campaigning, instead focusing on Europe's reaction to the war in Ukraine. Ten more candidates are also in the running.
