UK charity Breadwinners is helping refugees who have arrived in Britain to develop skills to enter the workforce. So far, the mentoring organisation has trained more than 150 refugees and asylum seekers to manage its bread stalls at markets in London and Brighton. Refugees from Eritrea and Nigeria working at a stall in Greenwich say the experience has improved their confidence when engaging with other people, and that it will help them forge a career in the UK.
