Description
Amidst heavy shelling in the city of Lysychansk in the Luhansk oblast, 55-year-old Svitlana celebrates her birthday in a basement of the house she used to live in. She has spent almost a month here and says that her only birthday wish now is “peace for everyone”. Svitalana’s relatives, friends and neighbours came together to sing songs, read poetry, and share a jar of home-made wine.
