French street artist Thomas Debatisse has been acquitted of the murder of his partner, after a trial lasting more than two months in Seychelles.
"I didn't have any doubt it was an innocent man who was being tried in this case," says Debastisse's defence lawyer.
A jury of five men and two women handed down their verdict at 4:30 am on Friday that Debatisse was innocent of the murder of his girlfriend Emmanuelle Badibanga. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
