Hundreds of Brazilians take part in the traditional “Masquerades Party” in the streets of Jaboticatubas, in Minas Gerais, to celebrate the closing of the Holy Week. As per tradition, people dress up in shabby clothes, mask themselves and burn dummies symbolising the disciple Judas Iscariot. The villagers also created 'Sabina', a fictional wife of Judas, so that the disciple "wouldn't be alone" in the fire.
