Description
Reporters Without Borders (RSF) has announced that it will help the French media RFI and France 24 to remain accessible on the Internet in Mali, the day after the announcement of their definitive ban in the country. According to the director of RSF's West Africa office, this ban is "a heavy blow to all Malian media". Sadibou Marong says that a system has been put in place by the RSF to allow Malians to have access to RFI and France 24, by creating "mirror sites that are more or less exact copies of the websites that the local authorities have blocked."
