Columbia University law professor Katherine Franke says the leaked draft ruling by the Supreme Court overturning abortion rights is a "radical retrenchment of US Constitutional law." As soon as the Supreme Court reverses Roe v. Wade, the 1973 ruling that enshrined abortion rights across the country, "roughly half of the United States" will implement laws criminalizing abortions, Franke says from her New York office.
