Ukrainian player Elina Svitolina may be taking a break from tennis right now, but Russia's invasion of her homeland is doing little to ease her time off. "I want to find peace within myself, and while the war is still happening, for me it's very tough to do that," she tells AFP, calling the situation "a constant worry". "It's been really tough to see the news with all the bombings," the Odessa native adds. Confirming that she will not take part in this year's French Open on the sidelines of Global Sports Week in Paris, Svitolina says she is taking the opportunity to focus on her mental health, admitting she has "ups and downs" like "any human".
