Description
Stamped with the number 105, "The Storm" is the last surviving submarine from the Soviet Union's "Project 603", which was abandoned by Moscow in Albanian waters after a falling-out in 1961 with the Albanian communist dictator Enver Hoxha. A former sailor has kept it alive by reconstructing its interior, which was looted during an armed revolt in 1997, but what will happen to the submarine is still unclear. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
