Spain and Qatar strengthen their economic ties with the signature of a series of accords during a state visit by Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. During the two-day visit, the first to Spain by the Qatari emir since his accession to the throne in 2013, "twelve agreements were signed" between the two countries, including on the economy, trade, education and science, the Spanish government said, without giving details.
