Thousands of ultra-Orthodox Jews converge on Israel's Mount Meron for an annual pilgrimage, amid tightened safety measures a year after 45 people were crushed to death in a stampede. Police say that more than 10,000 have gathered at Mount Meron for the start of the pilgrimage, which runs until Thursday night.
