"It became interesting for me when a certain segment in the Iranian society and press and authorities started talking about this guy as some sort of selfless hero," says Danish-Iranian director Ali Abbasi during a press conference for his film "Holy Spider", which follows the journey of a prostitute killer in Iran, inspired by real events.
