Description
Daviti Souleymanishvili, a member of the Azov battalion, lost his left leg during the fighting in Mariupol, the southern Ukrainian port city that the Russians attacked for three months before finally seizing it last week. In the front rank of the battle, this sergeant was seriously wounded on March 20, when a Russian tank, located about 900 meters away, fired in his direction. Born in Georgia and naturalised in Ukraine, he says he can't wait for his prosthesis, because he wants to "continue to serve in the army and continue to fight."
