Description
The WHO accuses the tobacco industry of being one of the world's biggest polluters. In a report released on World No Tobacco Day, the UN agency says the industry is responsible for the loss of some 600 million trees, 200,000 hectares of land, 22 billion tonnes of water and for the emission of around 84 million tonnes of carbon dioxide.
