Yewwi Askan Wi and Wallu Senegal, two major Senegalese opposition coalitions, have decided to unite in order to win the next parliamentary elections on July 31, 2022. According to the members of these coalitions, the only goal of this alliance is "to provide the Senegalese opposition with a majority" and "to block the risky prospect of Macky Sall running for a third illegitimate and unconstitutional term in the 2024 presidential election."
