King Philippe of Belgium honours a Congolese WWII veteran that fought for the Belgians with a medal at a wreath laying ceremony he attends alongside his wife, Queen Mathilde, the President of the DRC, Felix Tshisekedi and the First Lady Denise Nyakeru Tshisekedi. The ceremony forms part of an official six-day visit by the Belgian royals, accompanied by Belgian PM Alexander De Croo, which has been billed as a chance for reconciliation after the atrocities committed by Philippe's ancestor, King Leopold II, and under Belgian colonial rule in the Congo.
